Value Add Engineering
Each customer is unique in the custom wire and cable industry. We do our best to save customers money and time on their projects. We have saved our customers hundreds of thousands of dollars through our VAVE projects. Some of the projects we have done for our customers include design and manufacture process changes, alternate components offering lower costs, and enhancing product inspection.
Reverse Engineering
Sometimes there is an amazing concept brought to the table, but the "how” to get there is undefined. We can help! Our dedicated and experienced engineering team can reverse engineer - from existing harnesses to a napkin sketch.
AutoCAD and Drawing
We bring decades of drawing interpretation and design to the table. Our team is experienced with tools such as AutoCAD. We will help you manage your design from concept to production runs. We will be there every step of the way in bringing your custom wiring or cable assembly to fruition.
Testing Capabilities
We believe in high quality tooling to support more efficient production processes. We have the ability to write and manage wire and RLC components to the latest industry standards.
Consignment or Purchased Part Options
APA offers consignment programs on both harnessing and purchased parts. This allows some flexibility to manage production demands.
Electronic Data Interchange
We are excited to bring advanced technology to the custom wire and cable industry. We utilize cloud system to offer a lightning fast exchange of information between us and our customers.
Facility Production Efficiency Initiatives
We believe in the cost-down initiatives, and we know we must bring the best delivery, service, and cost, all without compromising quality and service. Our facility has been fit and our staff trained on many different production efficiency methods. Some of these methods include; KANBAN, vendor managed inventory, local deliveries, dock-to-stock programs, just in time inventory management, and a robust MRP system. These initiatives allow for shortened production time, lowering the cost to produce products for customers.

Our facility is a low energy manufacturing facility; this is particularly impressive given that our main product is electronic. In addition, we have recycling and waste initiatives in place. These are coupled by our promotion of sustainability to our employees. APA is also able to comply with RoHS initiatives.
